Just wanted to share my simple and very basic recording setup. This is how I record my tracks from start to finish. After editing my original lyrics down to exactly what I want them to say I begin the long process of putting them to a beat. Fine tuning my vocals. Layering my vocals with added filters like reverb, echo and compression. Then mastering them into a final track to be sent to my distributor for release. Here’s the “one take” recording of “MOTIVATION” off of my album THE JOURNEY. Enjoy

This is me just recording the raw vocals. Beat is playing in the headphones and I’m track recording my raw voice
here I’m adding reverb and compression to my vocals and then doubling the vocal track. On the doubled vocal I add a bass filter to lower my voice an octave below the original

Then lastly I take the two vocal tracks and the instrumental track and combine them to produce one master recording to send to my distributor for release.
